Liverpool FC's chief executive officer, Billy Hogan, discusses Operation Christmas Magic – the club's community campaign – in a video interview which is available to watch now.

Operation Christmas Magic forms part of the Reds’ response to the COVID-19 pandemic and focuses on supporting local people in need.

The initiative, launched last week, is aimed specifically at tackling food poverty and social isolation during the build-up to Christmas.

In the interview, Hogan explains the objectives of Operation Christmas Magic and also outlines the club’s community response work to date this year.

The campaign includes support for Radio City’s ‘Cash for Kids’ appeal, to which fans can donate new and unwrapped gifts at collection points at any LFC store in Liverpool, Chester or Ireland.

Alternatively, supporters can donate online here or text to donate by texting the word CITY to 70910 to donate £10, or CITY to 70920 to donate £20.
