Dalglish and Rush set to manage LFC Legends in charity match at Anfield
Sir Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush will manage Liverpool FC Legends when they take on Barça Legends at Anfield in March.
Dalglish will lead the Reds, with Rush acting as assistant manager, when they play the Spanish giants on Saturday March 28, in aid of the club’s official charity, LFC Foundation.
The club’s official training kit partner, AXA, is the presenting partner for the LFC Foundation charity match, reflecting its commitment to the Reds’ wider football family.
The global insurer, which became LFC’s official training kit partner this season, shares the club’s goal of promoting healthy lifestyle and well-being, as well as hosting a range of mass participation events and experiences for fans.
A stellar line-up is confirmed for LFC Legends for the game, including Luis Garcia, Patrik Berger, Jerzy Dudek, and – for the first time back playing at Anfield – Fernando Torres, Jose Enrique and Fabio Aurelio.
The Barça Legends side will also feature some fantastic footballing talent, including Edgar Davids, Patrick Kluivert, Juliano Belletti and Javier Saviola.
