#TweetToMeet: Your chance to meet your LFC hero
To celebrate passing 6m Twitter followers, @LFC are offering one lucky fan the chance to meet the player of their choice and attend a game at Anfield.
Our #TweetToMeet competition is now open, and gives supporters the chance to meet their favourite LFC star at Melwood, enjoy a tour of the Reds’ training ground and watch a game at Anfield with a friend from the comfort of Thomas Cook’s box.
The winner will also receive two return flights to Liverpool from their country of residence, as well as accommodation in the city, courtesy of Thomas Cook.
To be in with a chance of winning, fans need to tweet @LFC with the hashtag #TweetToMeet along with the surname of their player of choice (e.g. #Coutinho) and their reason for wanting to meet him.
For example: '@LFC I #TweetToMeet #Coutinho because I want to show him my collection of photos I’ve built up during his time at #LFC.'
@LFC will be tracking entries containing players’ surnames and, after 48 hours, we will announce the player who has been chosen to be met by fans.
We will then choose the best four entries from those who wanted to meet the selected player, before a Twitter vote decides the lucky winner.
