Liverpool ensured they'd spend Christmas Day on top of the Premier League by putting seven goals without reply past Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Takumi Minamino opened the scoring in south London after 125 seconds as fine strikes from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino followed prior to half-time.
It was 4-0 when Jordan Henderson curled in from distance before Firmino chipped in for his second of the afternoon.
Mohamed Salah came off the bench in the 57th minute and completed the Reds' scoring with a close-range header and beautiful bending effort from the edge of the penalty area.
