Daniel Sturridge, meanwhile, praised the Reds' character and class.
And there's the final whistle!
A big three points for the Reds, who recovered from Salah having a penalty saved late in the first half to score three times after the break, through Sturridge, Firmino and Wijnaldum.

Kick-Off
We're back under way.
Liverpool are kicking towards the Kop in this second half.
Take a look at the Opta data from that first half below...
Half Time
The first half ends goalless here at Anfield.
There hasn't been much in the way of goalmouth action at either end, but Salah had the chance to put the Reds in front from the penalty spot shortly before the break after Smith had pulled Firmino's shirt.
However, the No.11 sent his effort straight down the middle and Lossl parried it away, with Henderson then shooting wide from the rebound.
Salah's penalty, awarded after Firmino's shirt had been pulled in the box, is saved by Lossl and Henderson sends the rebound wide.
Penalty
PENALTY TO LIVERPOOL!
Substitution
An early change for the visitors, with Kachunga replacing Van la Parra.
Milner collects a raking pass from Henderson on his chest and side-foots an effort goalwards, which Lossl is equal to.
Salah and Firmino link up nicely in the area but the former's shot is straight at Lossl.
Better from the Reds.
Sturridge gets on the end of Milner's cross from the right, but his first-time effort bounces over the bar.
It's been a pretty even opening to the game, with neither goalkeeper tested as yet.
Liverpool, as you'd expect, are enjoying most of the possession, but they haven't worked Huddersfield 'keeper Lossl.
Kick-Off
After a minute's silence to commemorate Remembrance Sunday, we're under way at Anfield.
There's been a late change in the Liverpool team, with Ragnar Klavan starting in place of the injured Dejan Lovren.
Ben Woodburn takes Klavan's place on the bench.
'You'll Never Walk Alone' rings out around a drizzly, chilly Anfield.
Just over five minutes until kick-off.

Jordan Henderson has been on pre-match media duties here at Anfield...
"It's up to us to get out there and show a reaction, really. It's a big one for us and I think we're looking forward to it," said the skipper.
"We've got to continue that [our strong home form] and it's all about the reaction today and about putting in a good performance.
"Huddersfield are a very good team, they beat Manchester United last week so they'll come here full of confidence and with nothing to lose so we need to be aware of that, but if we do what we need to do then I'm sure we'll get a good result."

Captain's log
In a week that has seen Rhian Brewster hit two hat-tricks to fire England U17s into the World Cup final and Ben Woodburn sign a new long-tern Liverpool contract, Jordan Henderson is full of optimism.
“All of us who care about the club’s future will be delighted with how these lads are doing, and it shows yet again that Alex Inglethorpe and his team at Kirkby are doing great work in looking after them on and off the field.”
A reminder
In case you didn't know, Rhian Brewster will contest the U17 World Cup final today at 3.30pm BST when England face Spain in India.
We'll bring you updates on how he's getting on during today's match and it looks like Gini Wijnaldum will be rushing to find out how his young teammate is getting on when the final whistle blows at Anfield.

Klopp's take
“I love that we have the opportunity – both today and for the remainder of the season – to prove that we are better than some currently think we are. We have the opportunity to say this is the real us, this is what we are.”
Some interesting stuff from the gaffer in his programme notes, which you can preview here.
