Liverpool FC Legends will again face old rivals Chelsea FC Legends this time in an away fixture at Stamford Bridge, on Saturday 11 October 2025, kick off 3pm.
The Legends fixture, which is delivered in partnership with the club’s former players association ‘Forever Reds’, will help raise funds for both club’s official charities.

In a rematch from the Legends fixture at Anfield earlier this year, Liverpool FC Legends will be looking to make it a double over Chelsea and the hosts have already confirmed that 2012 UEFA Champions League winning manager Roberto Di Matteo will take charge of their side, whilst John Terry will captain the team.
Matt Parish, LFC Foundation Chief Executive, said: “Following on from the huge success of our Legends game against Chelsea at Anfield back in March, we are delighted to announce we will head to Stamford Bridge in October for an away Legends fixture.
“The fixture will again be a celebration of the historic rivalry between both clubs along with a showcase of the fantastic work both organisations do within their local communities and for their former players.
“The LFC Foundation Legends games are delivered in partnership with the clubs official former players association ‘Forever Reds’ which supports both former players and local charities.”
Laura Cordingley, Chelsea FC Foundation Chief Executive added: “We are extremely excited to be hosting this Legends match at Stamford Bridge as part of the club’s 120th anniversary.
“This will be a special celebration of the club’s history whilst supporting the work of Chelsea FC Foundation and the Chelsea Players’ Trust. Funds raised from the match will be crucial in enabling us to continue our work positively impacting our communities and supporting the welfare of Chelsea FC’s former players.”
