Held at the spectacular Liverpool Anglican Cathedral on 21 May, the sold-out black-tie event brought together supporters, partners and club Legends for one of the Foundation’s most important dates of the year.

All funds raised on the night, supported by headline sponsors Carpenters Group and Legacie, will go directly to LFC Foundation programmes including health, learning and employability initiatives, as well as Forever Reds – the club’s official former player association.

A specially commissioned painting of Diogo Jota generated £3,000 through a silent pledge opportunity held during the evening. Every penny will directly support the grassroots programme established in Jota’s name.

Created in tribute to Diogo and his brother André Silva following their tragic passing last July, the programme will support young people to play, learn and develop through football, creating opportunities that reflect his legacy and values demonstrated on and off the pitch.

Guests enjoyed a fantastic array of live performances from Liverpool Soul icons The Real Thing, alongside Jamie Webster and Brad Kella, as well as headline guest Steven Gerrard who took to the stage for an exclusive appearance.

Throughout the 24-25 season, the LFC Foundation supported more than 145,000 people, with 20 per cent located within the most deprived communities of the UK – underlining the continued scale and reach of its work across the region.

Over 19,000 people outside of the UK also benefitted from an LFC Foundation programme, in Tanzania, Ethiopia, United States, Republic of Ireland and Japan.
