LFC FoundationInspiring year 11 students at a local school on Aspirations Day
LFC Foundation teamed up with pupils from Holly Lodge Girls’ College to deliver an unforgettable Aspirations Day for all Year 11 pupils.
Staff from across LFC Foundation’s Onside and Premier League Inspires programmes, as well as team members from across the Inclusion team hosted an inspiring event with the aim to boost morale, motivate students, and prepare them for exams and life beyond school.
Instead of the usual timetable, students enjoyed a dynamic day filled with interactive and thought-provoking sessions designed to spark ambition and build confidence.
Highlights of the Day
- Wellbeing activities, helping to encourage a positive mindset and self-care.
- Future pathways & goal-setting workshops to help inspire students to think big and plan ahead.
- Teamwork & collaboration exercises to strengthen communication and problem-solving skills.
- Resilience building sessions that equip pupils with the skills to tackle challenges with confidence.
- Kinball sports session that added energy and fun through an exciting team sport
The event provided a fantastic opportunity for students to explore their potential, set meaningful goals, and experience learning in a fresh, engaging way.
Our students came away from the day feeling empowered in their education and aspirational about their futures.
One pupil shared:“I enjoyed the teamwork activities—it’s nice to have something different from pen on paper!”
Another added:“I liked being able to interact without feeling the pressure of school.”
