LFC FoundationChampion of the Month: November 2025
Congratulations to Tyler, our champion of the month for November 2025!
Tyler was nominated by LFC Foundation Staff, Carmel Carey-Shields for his fantastic commitment towards our Creative Works Programme
Tyler has been an absolute star from day one of our programme. He has demonstrated real passion for the topics that were covered, and this has helped other students feel more confident to move out of their comfort zones. The programme is dependent on the group to form a travelling storytelling company and Tyler has been proactive in planning and logistics.
Carmel has said, “His engagement with the texts has been a joy to witness and he has consistently striven to improve to the highest standards. His enthusiasm, commitment and passion to engage are simply a joy to behold. He has deserved this recognition as the success of this programme is now in his hands and I am confident it will be safe and successful.”
Tyler has proved consistent when other students have failed to attend. He has enthused new members of the group and encouraged them to evaluate and improve their performance by setting standards and simply his own example.
Tyler has admitted to being "shy" and lacking confidence. He is now leading a group to present their work to primary students. He confidently shapes ideas and has no qualms about reshaping them after evaluation. Tyler feels that even at this early stage of the programme it has changed his self-esteem and he has gained confidence.
Congratulations to Tyler on winning Champion of the Month! We couldn’t be happier with how he has shined in the Creative Works Programme.
