Read a statistical preview of Liverpool’s Premier League visit to Fulham.

The Reds travel to Craven Cottage on Sunday (3pm GMT kick-off) for their first away game of 2026.

Here are 15 pre-match facts and figures from LFC statistician Ged Rea and Opta…

In the Premier League, Liverpool have won 21, drawn seven and lost eight of the 36 meetings, while at Fulham the Reds have won 10, drawn two and lost six.

Not since April 1963 has there been a goalless draw between the sides at Craven Cottage.

Liverpool have not kept a clean sheet in their last 10 league visits to Fulham, the last coming in April 2009 when Yossi Benayoun scored a stoppage-time winner.

Since recording their only league double over Liverpool in 2011-12, Fulham have won two of the 14 league encounters played.

Liverpool have scored in all but one of their last 12 league visits to Craven Cottage – only failing to do so in a 1-0 defeat in December 2011 to a Fulham team containing Danny Murphy and John Arne Riise.

The Reds have lost just one of their last eight visits to Fulham across all competitions, with that defeat coming last season.

Liverpool have failed to score in just one of their last 30 away league games (at Manchester City this season).

Fulham have won four of the last 19 league meetings, all by a one-goal margin.

Daniel Sturridge is the last Liverpool player to score a hat-trick at Craven Cottage, doing so in a 3-1 win in May 2013. Only two other Reds have netted a league treble against Fulham: Maxi Rodriguez (May 2011) and Billy Liddell (September 1954).

Fulham have won five of their last eight Premier League home games (lost three), keeping a clean sheet in four of those. Those four clean sheets are already twice as many as they kept at Craven Cottage last season.

Fulham have won just one of their last 19 Premier League games against the reigning champions (drew three, lost 15) though that victory did come against Liverpool in March 2021 (1-0 at Anfield).

Fulham boss Marco Silva has lost all 11 of his Premier League games against the reigning champions, the highest 100 per cent loss rate of any manager in the competition.

The last four Premier League games between Fulham and Liverpool have produced 20 goals, with both teams scoring at least twice in three of those four matches.

After losing five consecutive Premier League away games against London sides, Liverpool have now won their last two. Meanwhile, the Reds have also scored in their last 20 league games in the capital since a 0-0 draw at Chelsea in April 2023.

Hugo Ekitike has scored three goals in his last two Premier League away games, having scored just once in his first six on the road for Liverpool. He last scored in more consecutive away league games in December 2021 (four with Reims).
