LFC FoundationCelebrate LFC Foundation’s Community Day at Anfield
This weekend’s game against Wolverhampton Wanderers marks our annual Community Day at Anfield to celebrate the incredible work of the LFC Foundation.
As LFC’s official charity, the LFC Foundation is dedicated to tackling social inequalities and raising aspirations both in the Liverpool City Region and internationally.
Their work is carried out through the delivery of programmes that have a positive impact on health, learning and employment outcomes in the highest-need communities across the Liverpool City Region, and through impactful partnerships internationally.
Last season alone, the Foundation supported more than 127,000 people and for every £1 invested, the LFC Foundation was able to generate a return of £13.70 back into the community, showcasing the real impact that fundraising can have on the lives of so many people across the Liverpool City Region and beyond.
You can help the LFC Foundation to continue to make a difference by making a donation, no matter how small, and together we can help the Foundation reach it’s ambition of doubling fundraising by 2030 with the aim of supporting 500,000 per season in the next five years.
Around Anfield on Sunday you will see colleagues from the LFC Foundation selling raffle tickets for a prize draw and you could be in with a chance of winning signed LFC merchandise, hospitality match tickets and unique experiences while raising vital funds for the charity.
To help celebrate Community Day, LFC Foundation flag wavers will be pitchside ahead of kick-off to welcome the teams out on to the pitch, while this year’s Premier League Community Captain will be presented with their award pitchside before the game too.
Be sure to listen out at half-time for more about the LFC Foundation and their ambitions for the future as well as more about the upcoming Legends match against Chelsea FC Legends here at Anfield on March 22.
Thank you for your support of the LFC Foundation, make sure you are following the Foundation’s social media channels on X, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to keep up to date or find out more by visiting www.liverpoolfc.com/foundation.
