Mohamed Salah has scored nine goals in just six Premier League appearances versus Leeds, with only Alan Shearer (20) and Thierry Henry (10) netting more against them.

A goal on Saturday would see Salah become the all-time leading scorer in meetings between the sides (all competitions) with one club. He currently has nine for Liverpool along with Gordon Hodgson, who has 11 overall having netted twice for Leeds.

The Reds have lost just one of their last 24 away Premier League fixtures in the month of December (18 wins, five draws), going unbeaten in seven (six wins, one draw) since a 1-0 defeat at Leicester City in 2021.

No team has had more different players create 20+ chances than Liverpool in the Premier League this season (four, level with Chelsea) – Salah (28), Cody Gakpo (25), Dominik Szoboszlai (24) and Florian Wirtz (20).

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has scored in each of his last two home top-flight games against Liverpool, netting an 81st-minute equaliser in October 2020 (2-2) and the second in a 2-0 win in April 2024, both for Everton.

In Daniel Farke, Leeds will have their fourth different manager in situ in the last four encounters with Liverpool – previously Javi Gracia, Jesse Marsch and Marcelo Bielsa.

Eleven of Leeds' 14 points in the Premier League this season have been secured at Elland Road.

The only players to start every league game this season for Leeds are Jayden Bogle and Joe Rodon.
