Beata Olsson is looking ahead positively as Liverpool FC Women resume their season with the challenge of three Barclays Women's Super League away games in eight days.

Saturday's lunchtime clash with Arsenal at Emirates Stadium will be followed by trips to Aston Villa on Thursday and West Ham United next Sunday.

Head coach Gareth Taylor anticipates the demands of that schedule will pose a real test for the squad both physically and mentally.

Olsson is confident, though, the spirit within the group can help the Reds progress after three games without defeat before the international break.

"I think we turned it around a bit last month and we are building something now and we will continue to do so," the team's November Player of the Month told Liverpoolfc.com.

"I think we have some really good players here and it will be a test now for us to see what we can do.

"We had a good last month so we know we are capable of putting in some good performances.

"We are not naive, we know we will have to work really hard because Arsenal will be a tough game. They will have their supporters behind them. But we also have great fans so we know they are behind us and we've got a lot to work for.

"We have got great spirit here and you see that every day you come into Melwood.

"For example, we came back from international duty on Thursday and it felt great, everyone is so excited for this upcoming period and I feel we have something special to build on."

During November, the Swede scored in all four of Liverpool's games, with her total of six including a first hat-trick for the club in the Subway Women's League Cup at Sheffield United.

"It takes a while to build up the connections and the relationships with everyone but I have started to find my way in the box and have got great assists from the likes of Lily [Woodham] and Ceri [Holland]," Olsson added.

"I think I have developed so much as a player since coming here and I have to say thank you to all the coaching staff here for helping me every day.

"I love it here, it's great. This club is amazing and the players are amazing, it's incredible and we want to continue to improve and do well."
