LFC FoundationSoccer Works
The LFC Foundation, in partnership with Japan Airlines, is offering a soccer-based employability program for young people ages 15-24 that combines soccer activities with essential workforce skills. This free, fully funded program uses soccer to help young people build job readiness and life skills that prepare them for success in the workforce. Through a 2-3 hour workshop, participants will develop confidence, career planning, and interview skills, while practicing teamwork, communication, resilience, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and commitment. Designed to be inclusive and accessible to all participants regardless of prior experience with soccer or job readiness, this program offers a holistic approach to education that integrates physical fitness with professional development, helping students make successful transitions into the workforce. This program can be adapted for a school gym session over the course of 3-4 classes. The program began in November 2024 and has been delivered to over 300 participants.
This program is free of charge.
