Join us on 7th April for our Share Ramadan Event

Liverpool FC and LFC Foundation will host ‘Share Ramadan’, a free community event celebrating the holy month of Ramadan at Anfield next month.

On Sunday 7th April, Anfield will welcome 2800 people from diverse communities across the Liverpool City Region to come together to break their fasting, with a range of delicious food and take part in collective prayer in an inclusive environment.

Please prepare for the Share Ramadan event, by planning your transport and route to the stadium in advance and arrive as early as possible to allow enough time for search procedures to be carried out.

Please be advised that anyone under the age of 16 years old attending the Anfield stadium must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.

Transport

Public transport is the easiest and most efficient way to reach Anfield.

Whether you live locally or are travelling from the outside Liverpool City Region, we recommend that you plan your route in advance and arrive for your designated entry time.

There are a number of to travel to Anfield, including train, bus, bike, taxi and via designated walking routes. For more advice on travelling to Anfield, please visit www.liverpoolfc.com/gettingtoanfield.

A drop-off point is available for disabled attendees and is located on Gilman Street.

Parking

Parking is available in close proximity to the stadium, situated at Stanley Park Car Park and Utting Avenue Car Park. This must be booked and you can do so from 9am on Tuesday 26th March using this link: https://ticketing.liverpoolfc.com/en-gb/categories/events . Please ensure you book your parking before attending the event.

Stadium Entry

Entry to the stadium will be via turnstiles T and V ONLY on the Main Stand, which are displayed on the map below.

Bags

Anfield Stadium operates a strict bag policy for safety and security purposes ONLY, the following bags are permitted entry into the stadium:

  • Small handheld bag which does not exceed A5 size (148.5 x 210 mm / 5.8 x 8.3 inches).
  • LFC Superstore clear carrier bag containing Superstore purchases only.

Oversized bags larger than A5 will only be permitted at the discretion of LFC if containing medication and / or medical equipment which cannot fit inside an A5 size bag. All bags permitted will be subjected to a bag search on entry point.

Prohibited items include Umbrellas, Prams and pushchairs, car seats, video recording devices, and large bodied cameras. For more information including a list of prohibited items please click here.

Please note that prayer mats will be provided for use in the designated prayer areas.

There will be a bag drop facility for anything which is not permitted into the stadium located at the Stadium and Museum entrance.

This facility will be managed by the club’s official charity, LFC Foundation and will cost from £5. All monies raised will be donated to the Foundation, and payment is card only. The facility will be open from 4pm and will close 1 hour after event. LFC accepts no responsibility for loss or damage, items left at owners’ risk and all bags will be subject to security search.

Prayer Mats/Prayer Facilities

Please note that prayer mats will be provided for use in the designated prayer areas. These prayer facilities will be clearly signposted and accessible for all attendees.

Food and Drink

Complimentary food and water will be provided for all attendees in the stadium.

LFC Retail Store

The LFC Retail Store at Anfield will be open from 11am and close at 4pm.
