FoundationPlayer Development Programme
The LFCF Player Development Programme aims to deliver a unique football development offer for young people ages 4 through to senior football. The programme is designed for boys and girls of all skills and abilities, with a clear focus on development of its players alongside local coaches, grassroots clubs and leagues.
How it works
Our Player Development Programme (PDP) has changed as we now invite parents/carers to complete our expression of interest form for the new cohort.PDP will run in total blocks of 10 or 11 weeks between Sept-June these are split into 5 or 6 weeks sections depending on school term times. The costings of each PDP Block (1A 5x weeks) & (1B 5x weeks) will be one payment of £60-£80-£100 for 10 weeks of training with the fee depending on which age range your player is involved in. Guardians will receive the unique booking links to those players who have been successful through our PDP Talent Identification Process. If the total block works out at 10/11/12 weeks, the price will be altered to reflect this.We start sessions for 3-4yrs & Pre-PDP 5-7 ages and will be running double banded age groups from U9, U11, U13 and have U8-U13 groups for Goalkeeper specific sessions. All Girls PDP sessions will be from U7/U8 through to U12.
How players are identified
We're ready for you to express your interest for our BLOCK 1 of Player Development Sessions.
From filling out the expression of interest form, each application will be sifted, and successful participants will be invited to join our programme as part of our new Talent Identification process. We also invite players via our PDP Technical Camps & PDP Grassroots Competition.
For more information for BLOCK 1, please use the Expression of interest Microsoft form here
Our Player Development Programme will operate on a one-off up front block booking payment - as mentioned the block prices will alter slightly based on the weeks of sessions in between school holidays.
