Run to AnfieldRegistrations open for Run to Anfield 2026
Registrations are now open for Run to Anfield 2026, with the popular community event returning on Saturday August 1 in support of the LFC Foundation.
The annual event will bring together supporters, families and runners of all abilities - to champion healthier and more active lifestyles, while supporting the LFC Foundation’s ongoing work across the Liverpool City Region.
Participants will take on the scenic five-kilometre route through Stanley Park before finishing on 97 Avenue. After crossing the finish line, runners will have the special opportunity to step inside one of world football’s most iconic stadiums for a commemorative pitch side photo with their official 2026 race medal.
Following its successful introduction last year, a one-kilometre fun run will also take place, offering children, families and those looking for a shorter distance the chance to take part in the day.
Last year saw more than 1,350 participants take part across both distances, raising vital funds to support the LFC Foundation’s health, wellbeing and community programmes.
Throughout the 2024-25 season, the LFC Foundation supported more than 145,000 people, with 20 per cent living within the most-deprived communities in the UK, underlining the continued scale and reach of the charity’s work across the region.
Participants are encouraged to raise £150 for the LFC Foundation through the official Run to Anfield JustGiving campaign, helping to ensure continued, sustainable long-term support for local communities.
All those participating in the 5K or 1K events will receive an exclusive race t-shirt ahead of the event.

Full instructions on how to set up your Run to Anfield JustGiving page will be sent to you by LFC Foundation following your successful registration.
