LFC FoundationRed Neighbours Round-Up: From hamper deliveries to cooking classes and Tai Chi!
The Red Neighbours team have had a busy few weeks making a huge impact across the community. Read a round-up of the latest activity below.
The Red Neighbours team welcomed 98 guests from our local community, care homes, and charities to Anfield for a Q&A with Stephen Wright. Stories were shared, and memories were made together.
LFC and Premier League PFA funded Red Neighbours were able to deliver 1240 hampers to local schools, community centres and hubs during May half term. This support plays a vital role in helping families facing increased food poverty during the school holidays.
Through years of socialising, bingo, and dancing, our group has formed lasting friendships and a strong sense of community in Monday Club.
Thanks to Premier League PFA funding, our weekly Tai Chi session at The Brunny in Bootle provides simple, accessible movement for participants. Supported by the Premier League, these sessions help improve wellbeing in a calm and inclusive environment.
12 participants from our Adult Health programme and Kirkby Community Centre joined us at Anfield for a Red Kitchen cookery session.
The group created easy, low-cost, and versatile recipes to support healthier eating at home.
