Red Neighbours weekly Women’s Advanced football session at AXA Melwood
Bringing local grandmothers, mothers, daughters, aunties and sisters all with a love of football to the home of our amazing womens team.
We had an amazing time are privileged to be able to play at the home of our LFCW first team
World Cup fever had spread
As the first game kicked off it was great to see a few of our lads country’s being represented. The bond of love in our team goes beyond club colours or international rivalries
Eyes down, feet tapping
An extra special “Monday Club” held at our local Sandon Pub, participants meet up once a month for an afternoon of bingo, raffle & afternoon tea.
With a special dance performance from our weekly dance group “You’ll Never Dance Alone” who brought the house down!
Mindfulness in our Tai Chi sessions
Numbers continue to grow on our PLPFA funded tai chi sessions at The Brunny and ASCC. It’s great to see so many learning a new skill and making connections
Honeysuckle families enjoyed a night at Zach Bryan
Some of our honeysuckle families enjoyed complimentary tickets to see Zach Bryan at Anfield with one participant saying “It was an unbelievable night. My wife and I needed that so much. It was nice to just be a couple and forget about things and be us for a change”
Neil Mellor takes centre stage at Welcome Reds
Despite temporarily moving to The Sandon during concert season, we had another packed out Welcome Reds session.

Chair yoga is helping our communities to be more active
Our participants from Oakfield day centre continue to grow in more ways than one as our PLPFA funded chair based yoga sessions.
The sessions have progressed to include more physical exercise and dance! This is due to participants gaining both fitness and confidence this season
Our PLPFA funded Walking football sessions have become more popular by the week
We’re so proud of this group of men who have been celebrating the diversity of the group by arranging a visit to some of the groups local mosque to show solidarity and camaraderie between the group.
Our PLPFA funded community social events continue to grow
We are now running these events monthly in 3 of our community hubs, The Brunny, Tiber and Northwood.

World Cup celebration day at Sean’s Place
Our Man 2 Man programme got involved in a World Cup EAFC26 tournament which naturally saw England take home the trophy!
Great to see that lads bond over fun competition while working in teams to try take home the prize.
