LFC FoundationOpen Access Employability Sessions for Summer 2023
If you’re age 16-25, currently not in education, employment or training and living in the Liverpool City Region, then you’re eligible to sign up for a range of our free employability programmes that we’re providing across this summer!
All our Works programmes look to engage young people between the ages of 16-25 who are the furthest away from the job market by developing skills, attitudes and confidence through a range of activities and providing exposure to industry professionals.
There are three programmes to choose from with a range of skills, activities and durations. All programmes are free of charge.
Global Works
(10/11 hours duration - 1 hr per session)
Global Works is an employability programme funded by the Premier League Charitable Fund. This programme will look to provide high-quality, outcome-driven delivery around employment support. Consisting of sport-based employability sessions, mentoring and post programme support. The programme aims to get each participant to feel work-ready and actively seeking employment. It will look to focus on the development of skills and exposure of careers within sport through meeting industry professionals.

Programme Two *DATE CHANGES!*
Dates - Starting Tuesday 1st August (8-10 weeks duration)

SMF Works
(6-8 hours duration - 1hr per session)
SMF Works is a multi-faceted employability programme which encompasses delivery in schools & colleges and community settings across LCR, for 16 – 25 year olds furthest away from the job market. The programme focuses on workplace behaviours, key employability skills and exploring the LFC Core values followed by an invite to Anfield for a tour and final workshop.We offer a Female focused SMF Works programme with the aim to unlock the potential of young females, improving confidence and self-esteem, through interactive sessions to help develop skills, aspirations and knowledge of the world of work.

Creative Works
(6-8 hours duration - 1 hr per session)
The Creative Works programme is delivered across a period of 6 workshops, in which young people explore their creativity, develop an understanding of the pathways and career opportunities across various creative industries and work on soft skills such as communication, teamwork and decision making. Creative Works has provided an opportunity for young people to engage and be part of a group where they can feel comfortable, express their creativity and gain more knowledge on a topic of their interest.We also offer a Drama themed Creative Works programme to develop greater knowledge of drama techniques and employment opportunities in the theatre industry and promote self-awareness and increased confidence and self-esteem through drama strategies and soft skills workshops.
