LegendsLFC Retail proudly supports Legends game with fundraising across in app purchases
The LFC Store App returns as a sponsor for this weekend’s LFC Foundation Legends match, marking its fourth consecutive year of support.
Fans can enjoy 15% off all in-app purchases from 25 March to 1 April with the promo code ‘LEGENDS15’. Supporters can make an impact beyond the pitch this week, with 10 per cent of all sales using the promo code going directly to LFC Foundation, helping the club’s official charity continue its mission to tackle social inequalities and raise aspirations across communities.
Last season, the Foundation supported 145,617 people, almost three times the number reached in 2020/21. More than half of participants came from the top 20% most deprived areas in the country, underlining the Foundation’s commitment to ensuring that where you live doesn’t limit your opportunities.
Taking place at Anfield on Saturday, March 28, this year’s game will see LFC Legends face Borussia Dortmund Legends in a 3pm kick-off, bringing together some of football’s most iconic former players.
For the Reds, the side will be led by Sir Kenny Dalglish, joined by Jürgen Klopp in his role as LFC Foundation honorary ambassador, alongside a star-studded squad including Steven Gerrard, Peter Crouch, Sami Hyypiä, Natasha Dowie and more.
Funds raised from the Legends game, including the match-worn shirt auction, will support the Foundation’s employability programmes, helping people gain qualifications, build skills and access job opportunities through mentoring and training.
This includes initiatives such as Global Works, providing 16–25-year-olds with the tools they need to become work-ready, offering targeted support and real-world experience in the sports industry.
With employment and health outcomes in the Liverpool City Region still below national averages, tackling inequality remains a priority. Through its long-term strategy, LFC Foundation aims to support 500,000 people per season by 2030, driving lasting and meaningful change in the communities that need it most.
