What we’ve been up to

• She Inspires Festival: We attended the LCFAs She Inspires Festival, celebrating the achievements and experiences of women and girls and hearing some truly inspiring stories.
• Women in Sport, Breaking Barriers: We also attended the Women in Sport event, featuring Olympic champion Tessa Sanderson. An inspiring session highlighting the importance of challenging barriers and creating opportunities for women to succeed.
• Merseyside Caribbean Carnival Revival, Toxteth: September saw us attend a fantastic day celebrating Caribbean culture, heritage and community.

Learning & development

• Forced Marriage, FGM & Modern Slavery training: We aim to help colleagues recognise concerns, understand responsibilities and know where to access support.
• Neurodiversity training for Line Managers: Building confidence and practical skills to support neurodivergent colleagues and create more inclusive teams.

• EDI is about more than events and training: It’s about the everyday actions we can all take to create a workplace and communities where everyone feels valued, respected, included and able to be themselves.
