LFC Foundation recently welcomed a group of children for a unique coaching and stadium experience in collaboration with Little Troopers, a registered charity supporting children who have a parent serving in the British Armed Forces.

Children of serving armed forces personnel can often face unique challenges, including frequent house and school moves, as well as periods of separation from their parent due to training, exercises, operations and other service commitments.

The Foundation’s football team worked alongside Little Troopers to deliver a special experience for the young people.

Beginning with a coaching session, the 16 children were taught The Liverpool Way to play which is a unique way to learn skills and build confidence that can be used on and off the pitch.

Following the coaching session, the children and their parents were invited to Anfield for a Stadium Tour and Museum visit, which provided the families with the chance to spend quality time together and to see behind the scenes of Anfield.
