LFC FoundationJason McAteer, John Aldridge and Sander Westerveld to support first LFC Foundation Golf Day in Dublin
LFC Foundation is delighted to announce its first Charity Golf Day and Dinner in Ireland, supported by Ladbrokes, with Reds legends Jason McAteer, John Aldridge and Sander Westerveld set to take part.
The event will take place on April 23, 2026 at the Roganstown Hotel & Country Club in Dublin with all proceeds supporting LFC Foundation’s work in Ireland.
The LFC Foundation currently engages with three League of Ireland Premier Division clubs, who all deliver community interventions and wider programmes to support vulnerable groups.
The Foundation also provides training to upskill community staff and coaches as part of their professional development and all funds raised from the charity golf event will help support this vital work.
The golf format will see a four-person scramble, shotgun start with team arrival, registration and breakfast from 9.30am and the tee off at 11.30am.
Teams are priced from €1000 and there are limited packages available for a three-person team alongside an LFC Legend.
McAteer, Aldridge and Westerveld are all set to feature with more Legends to be confirmed in the lead up to the event.
Following the golf, there will be a dinner at the Roganstown Hotel from 6.30pm, with entertainment followed by a Q&A with LFC Legends. Tickets for the dinner are priced at €99 per person.
Matt Parish, LFC Foundation Chief Executive said: “We are delighted to launch our first official charity golf event in Ireland, supported by Ladbrokes who I want to thank for their support.
“The work we do in Dublin sees us partner with a number of League of Ireland Premier Division clubs and all proceeds from this event will support LFC Foundation’s work in Ireland. All clubs deliver life changing community interventions including provision in schools, youth work engagement and wider programmes to support vulnerable groups.
“The Foundation also provides training and coaching to upskill community staff and coaches as part of their continual professional development and to date we have been able to support just under 25,000 local participants.
“This event will enable us to work with even more participants and I thank everyone involved for their continued support.”
Nicola McGeady, Head of PR at Ladbrokes, said: "We are incredibly proud to partner with the LFC Foundation for their inaugural charity golf event in Ireland. We are committed to supporting the communities where we operate and seeing the tangible difference the Foundation makes is truly inspiring.”
