LegendsJamie Webster to headline LFC Legends pre-match entertainment
Jamie Webster will headline the pre-match entertainment on Saturday March 25 ahead of the Liverpool FC Legends charity match in aid of LFC Foundation at Anfield.
The Liverpool-born singer songwriter will be playing live inside the Anfield bowl in the build-up to the charity game.
The LFC legends squad will take on Borussia Dortmund Legends kicking off at 3pm GMT. Returning to represent the Reds in front of a sold-out Anfield will be Steven Gerrard, Thiago Alcantara, Peter Crouch, Sami Hyypia, Pepe Reina, Natasha Dowie, and Louise Schillgard.
Turnstiles will open at 1pm and fans are encouraged to access the stadium early to make the most of the pre-match entertainment which will feature:
- 1pm – Live DJ set by Kaci Lee Lynch
- 2.15pm – Team Warm Up
- 2.35pm – Live Music by Jamie Webster
Plus, there will be facepainting and fun activities on the concourses.
There have also been some important safety and security changes at Anfield relating to match day operations.
Every adult – across general admission and hospitality – will undergo a search before entering the stadium. This change has become industry best practice among major sporting events, concerts and other Premier League clubs.
Turnstiles at Anfield open two hours before kick-off for general admission and three hours for hospitality, allowing enough time for the necessary checks before entry.
Supporters are advised that they should get ready to be searched by removing any keys or mobile phones from their pockets before they reach the turnstiles, as this will help speed up the process.
The safety of fans attending Anfield Stadium is paramount and the club works in partnership with Merseyside Police and other partner agencies to safeguard fans at every match day.
An email has been sent to every ticket purchaser with important information ahead of the game. More information can also be found here on getting to Anfield, stadium access, bag policy, accessibility and facilities.
