Over the past two weeks, LFC Foundation's Community Engagement programmes have continued to create opportunities for people of all ages to connect, stay active and build meaningful relationships.

From supporting men's wellbeing and tackling social isolation to encouraging participation in sport, our teams have been helping strengthen communities across Liverpool City Region.

Man2Man: building connections through conversation

At a recent Man2Man session hosted at Sean's Place, participants took part in a LEGO-based challenge.

The activity provided a relaxed environment where participants could work together, share ideas and build new connections whilst highlighting how simple activities can often create the greatest opportunities for meaningful interaction and peer support.

She Inspires League returns for a new season

The new season of the Red Neighbours She Inspires League got off to a fantastic start, with both LFC teams producing impressive performances.

LFC Team 1 began their title defence in style, securing two victories from two matches, while LFC Team 2 continued to build on last season's progress, demonstrating great resilience, determination and teamwork throughout the morning.

The opening fixtures set the tone for another exciting season, with players already looking forward to returning to action next month.

Pickleball proves a hit at ASCC

Red Neighbours' PLPFA-funded Pickleball sessions at Anfield Sports and Community Centre continue to grow in popularity.

Taking place every Tuesday morning, the sessions give local residents the opportunity to stay active, try one of the UK's fastest-growing sports and enjoy spending time with others in a fun and welcoming environment.

The programme has already attracted 25 participants in just two weeks, demonstrating the appetite for accessible activities that support both physical wellbeing and social connection.
