Foundation Big Red Summer Fun with LFC Foundation supported by SC Johnson
LFC Foundation is teaming up with Liverpool FC’s official partner SC Johnson for another year of Big Red Summer to encourage young people and families to get active and to learn the benefits of sustainability.
They’re calling on all Reds who attend their sessions across the summer to do their part and reduce, reuse, and recycle.
Plastic pollution is a global issue, and collectively LFC Foundation and SC Johnson are encouraging people to reuse where possible and work towards reducing plastic waste in our environment.
From July to the end of August, the Foundation is delivering many football and multisport camps that young people can get involved with, as well as a ‘Big Red Summer Festival Walk’ in Norris Green Park on Saturday 5th August.
Last year, over 7,500 took part in sessions in parks, opens spaces, community centres, sports halls and football pitches across the Liverpool City Region, and the aim is to do it all over again, even bigger and better.
Throughout our Big Red Summer, SC Johnson are challenging LFC fans to come with sessions with a reusable water bottle to help reduce plastic waste across the community. SC Johnson and LFC are working together as part of the club’s sustainability initiative - The Red Way, to reduce waste by 10% across the season, play your part on making the world a better place!
The Foundation have also teamed up with MyLFC. If you’re a member, then look out for opportunities to earn 100 points by attending any of the Foundation activities across the summer!
