Beyond the Goalposts exists to address the barriers that too often prevent women and girls from fully accessing opportunities within sport. Whether that is stepping onto the pitch, exploring leadership roles, developing careers behind the scenes, or simply feeling a sense of belonging within football spaces. Our aim is simple but powerful: to create environments where women and girls feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.While places on our current programme are limited, we are keen to keep you connected. Launching in August 2026, Beyond the Goalposts will be delivered through a series of evening and weekend workshop sessions across the Merseyside region. The programme has been intentionally designed to be flexible, accessible and responsive — recognising the varied responsibilities, experiences and aspirations of the women and girls we serve.

Whether your goal is to play, lead, learn, or simply become part of a supportive and like‑minded community, Beyond the Goalposts is committed to creating meaningful pathways both on and off the pitch. Our sessions focus not only on football participation, but on personal development, confidence‑building and long‑term progression.
