Foundation#iwill

The LFC Foundation #iwill programme started in 2019 and is a youth-led programme that empowers young people to identify, prioritise and tackle the issues that young people feel most strongly about.

The programme is a part of a national campaign called the #iwill campaign, which was launched in 2013 and believes in the power of youth and wants to ensure that all young people have the opportunity to be leaders in their communities.

#iwill is all about the Power of Youth

At The LFC Foundation, we’re big on youth voice & with our partnership with #iwill across the last 3 years, our mission has been to give our youth the opportunity to use their voice and to engage in real life social action and create lasting change in their communities. This isn’t going to change – we're expanding social action opportunities across more of our programmes and community so more and more people can get involved.

Our goals are simple:

  1. To empower the next generation
  2. To have their voices heard
  3. To instil positive changes in our communities and beyond
  4. To be the trail trailblazers of social action!

4 in 10 young people aged between 10 & 20 are already taking part in youth social action. We know that more want to, they just need the support and opportunity to do so. This is where the LFC Foundation come in.

Taking part in youth social action empower and upskills young people – it improves outcomes for our communities whilst diversifying and sustaining our organisations. To put it simply – everyone benefits.
