It's a double for the Reds' No.19, who earlier scooped the Players' Player of the Year.

Next up is the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by the Anfield icon who has played for Liverpool more than anyone else, Ian Callaghan.

And it goes to… the man crowned ‘Sir’ by the Kop, Roger Hunt!

Goal of the Season

Is it Mane at Arsenal? Henderson at Chelsea? Firmino at Stoke?

No, the winner of the Speed Medical Goal of the Season is Emre Can for his outrageous overhead kick against Watford!

"Thank you to everyone. Liverpool Football Club is part of my life," says Lucas, who will celebrate the 10th anniversary of his signing for the Reds on Thursday.

Special Recognition Award

This one is being presented by none other than the King, Kenny Dalglish.

And the winner is...

Lucas Leiva!

Trent Alexander-Arnold reflects on winning his Young Player of the Year award...

Members of the 1977 European Cup winning team collect their honour at this evening's awards.

Then a training session with Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana goes for £6,000, before two special tours of Melwood are auctioned for £3,500 apiece.

The first item, the dinner with Coutinho, Firmino and Lucas, has gone for £8,000, with Jürgen Klopp's wife Ulla outbid at the last minute!

A charity auction is currently taking place on stage, which will raise funds for the LFC Foundation. Some great items on offer here, including a signed bench jacket worn by Jürgen Klopp and a dinner with Lucas, Coutinho and Firmino.

Jeremy Barnes, head of All Saints School in Anfield, picks up the Bill Shankly Community Award.

And the winners are Liverpool's team of 1977 who, of course, won the European Cup for the first time in the club's history in Rome.

Gerrard - a man who knows a thing or two about lifting old big ears - hands the prize to members of the squad who brought the trophy home, including Phil Thompson, Phil Neal and David Fairclough.

Anfield legend Roy Evans is on stage discussing Ronnie Moran's impact while with the Reds and the lasting legacy he left at Liverpool Football Club.

The awards will take a moment to pause and remember the memory of the man known simply as Mr Liverpool, Ronnie Moran, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

Which is sponsored by the Know Hospitality Collection and presented by Billy Bygroves and Bill Shankly's granddaughter, Pauline, goes to...

Liverpool's U9s are currently on the stage having signed their first-ever contracts with the club earlier today. They also starred in that video we published further down the blog with Philippe Coutinho and Georginio Wijnaldum.

It's fair to say we weren't short of contenders for this particular prize! 

We came up with a shortlist of 10, which was whittled down to three by you, the fans, in a poll on Liverpoolfc.com.

Emre Can's wonder-strike at Watford was then granted automatic entry, meaning the four strikes below were put to an LFC panel to decide the overall winner...

...so we know it's not strictly Players' Awards related, but we can't start a live blog tonight without inviting you to watch this utterly brilliantly clip below, which features Philippe Coutinho and Georginio Wijnaldum taking on 30 - yes, THIRTY - of the club's under-nine players.
