Liverpool are reportedly leading Everton and Arsenal in the race for Charlton starlet Ezri Konsa.

The England Under-20 World Cup winner is expected to leave the Valley in the transfer window with a host of top-flight clubs interested.

But it is the Reds who front the queue, according to Kent Live, in a move which would see the centre-half join up with fellow Addicks academy graduate Joe Gomez.

Charlton boss Karl Robinson said of Konsa: “He’s the best young centre-back in the country, there is nobody better then him, fact.”
