Liverpool are plotting a huge summer move for Torino striker Andrea Belotti, according to reports in Italy.

Belotti has been in fine form this season for Torino, scoring five goals and providing two assists in six appearances.

The 22-year-old was also called up to the Italy squad last month and scored in the 3-1 World Cup qualifier win over Macedonia.

And this has reportedly caught the attention of a host of clubs, including Premier League big guns Liverpool and Arsenal.

Italian website CalcioMercatoWeb claim the Reds are keen to make the first move and are preparing a £19.5million summer bid for Belotti.

The report says Jurgen Klopp has acted swiftly to ensure Liverpool do not miss out on the striker to the Gunners.

He is under contract with Torino until June 2020 but it is said the Serie A club could be tempted into selling due to the size of the offer.

Belotti has made 40 league appearances for Torino since signing from Palermo in 2015, scoring 17 goals.
