Andriy Yarmolenko's agent has dropped a massive hint that his client could be on his way to Liverpool in the summer.

The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League with Arsenal and Everton also being credited with interest in the Ukraine international.

However, the Reds now appear to be leading the race for the in-demand striker after his agent Vadim Shabliy uploaded a video to Instagram, which suggested a meeting took place between himself and Liverpool at their London offices.

Shabliy did not confirm that a deal had been struck for Yarmolenko to move to Anfield, but the '#transferwindow' tag has certainly fuelled rumours of him making a long-awaited move to the Premier League.

Yarmolenko's agent also represents Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Viktor Kovalenko, so the meeting could have been about securing a possible transfer for the 20-year-old.

Jurgen Klopp looks set to overhaul his Liverpool squad ahead of his first full season in charge and he could look to Yarmolenko to bolster his attacking options.

However, the Reds will face competition from Arsenal and Everton who are also keen on signing Yarmolenko after holding a long-term interest in the Dynamo Kiev talisman.

Yarmolenko is expected to command a fee of around £25million.
