Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is lining up a January transfer move for Lille’s Sofiane Boufal, reports in France say.

Boufal only joined Lille in last year’s January transfer window but the 22-year-old is being heavily linked with a move away after impressing for the Ligue 1 outfit.

Reds boss Klopp is an admirer of the highly-rated Frenchman, who can play in midfield or up front, and is eyeing a possible deal in the new year, according to France Football.

It’s understood that Liverpool’s good relations with Lille since the signing of Divock Origi could help push through a potential deal.

Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham are also thought to be interested in Boufal.
