Salah nominated for Champions League Player of the Week
Mohamed Salah has been nominated for the Champions League Player of the Week award.
The Liverpool forward fired in the opening goal and teed up his team’s third for Sadio Mane as the Reds racked up a memorable 3-0 victory over Manchester City in the quarter-final first leg at Anfield.
Salah’s showing earned him a place on the four-man shortlist for the prize, alongside Gerard Pique (Barcelona), James Rodriguez (Bayern Munich) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid).
