Liverpool are back in action this weekend when Crystal Palace come to Anfield for our first home game of 2017-18.

The Reds are odds on 4/11 favourites with BetVictor to keep the points, with the Eagles 17/2 and the draw at 4/1.

However, Palace have won their last three league games at Anfield, the first team to do this since Chelsea in October 2005, but you have to go back to Arsenal in 1935 for the last side to make it four on the spin in top-flight English football.

Mohamed Salah became the 12th player to score on his Premier League debut for the Reds at Watford last weekend and the Egyptian is evens to join a trio who scored in their first two top-flight games for the club – can you name the other three? Answer below…

Salah is also 2/1 (from 3s) to be the club’s top Premier League goalscorer this season.

The Reds will be wary of the threat of former striker Christian Benteke, who scored twice at Anfield earlier in the year and has actually netted more league goals as a visitor (five) at Anfield than he did as a Liverpool player (four).

Both sides have found the back of the net in each of the last 10 games between the sides and those fixtures have averaged almost four goals a game.

The Reds to win and both teams to score must be the recommendation at 9/5 with BetVictor with a 4-1 home win a more speculative selection at 17/1.

Oh, and the three Reds to score in both of their first two Premier League games? Congrats if you got Nigel Clough, Milan Baros and Daniel Sturridge!
