Patrik Berger and Vladimir Smicer lavish praise upon Emre Can's 'sensational' overhead kick against Watford in the latest episode of LFC Later, which premieres on LFCTV at 10pm BST tonight.

The former Reds duo join presenters Rob Jones and Sam Quek in the studio this evening for a sideways look at what has been another busy week at Anfield.

And, as two players not shy of scoring an eye-catching goal during their time at the club, they just had to offer their verdict on Can's matchwinning effort at Vicarage Road.

Smicer joked: "I never tried overhead kicks because I had a feeling I could hurt myself! [It's the] goal of the year."

Berger added: "It wouldn't even come to my mind to try a scissor kick. It was a sensational goal.

"From the angle he got the ball from Lucas, it's very difficult, and he struck it so sweetly.

"Not just that, it won the game and three points [in a] very important game to finish in the top four."

The Czech pair also discuss Steven Gerrard’s new Academy role, the decision to rename the Centenary Stand in honour of Kenny Dalglish, and the intense battle for a top-four finish during another packed edition of LFC Later.

Tune in at 10pm on LFCTV to catch tonight's show, which will repeated in the coming days on the club's official channel and will also be available on demand on LFCTV GO.
