Ahead of Liverpool's Premier League meeting with Chelsea at Anfield this evening, peruse our latest collection of pre-match facts from club statistician Ged Rea.

This will be the 50th Premier League meeting between the two clubs, with both teams having won 19 times and 11 ending in draws.

At Anfield, Liverpool have won 13, drawn five and lost six Premier League clashes with the London club. 

Liverpool have drawn two and lost two of the last four league meetings with Chelsea at Anfield since they recorded a 4-1 victory in May 2012. Only Jordan Henderson of the 18-man squad that night is still at the club.

There has only ever been one goalless draw between the sides in the league on this ground in 73 league meetings. It came in October 1971.

Dejan Lovren's goal at Chelsea earlier this season was his first in the Premier League since January 2014, when he found the net for Southampton at Sunderland. The defender could make his 100th appearance for Liverpool in all competitions this evening.

The last Liverpool player sent off in league meetings between the sides was Pepe Reina - at Stamford Bridge in 2006. 

Liverpool are looking to record a fourth Premier League 'double' over this evening's opponents. The previous three have come inside the last eight seasons. 

The Reds have not lost four home games in succession since 1923 when they were defeated by Aston Villa, Sheffield United, Cardiff and Newcastle United between November and December of that year. 

In meetings involving the current top six since Jürgen Klopp took charge, Liverpool have lost just one of 14 games. This season, the Reds have won three and drawn three of six such fixtures.

Chelsea's defeat to Liverpool earlier this season was Antonio Conte's first in a home league game since January 2013. Including his time with Juventus, the Italian had previously gone 30 games unbeaten, claiming 28 wins and two draws.
