On this day 42 years ago, two bona-fide Liverpool legends made their debuts for the club.

When Bob Paisley named Phil Neal and Terry McDermott in his team to face Everton at Goodison Park on November 16, 1974, the Reds boss - who, of course, also went on to enshrine his place in the club's history - surely could not have foreseen what was to come.

Between them, Neal and McDermott proceeded to make 979 appearances for Liverpool - earning a scarcely-believable combined medal haul of 12 league titles, seven European Cups, two UEFA Cups and six League Cups in the process.

Neal and McDermott were not the only iconic Liverpool names to play in the 0-0 derby stalemate that began their storied Reds careers.

But can you identify the other nine men who lined up in Paisley's side that day?

You've got five minutes!
