Team news: Mane, Matip and Karius start at Tranmere
Sadio Mane, Joel Matip and Loris Karius make their debuts as Liverpool kick-off their pre-season programme against Tranmere Rovers tonight – watch the game live on LFCTV and online.
The trio are included in Jürgen Klopp’s starting XI for the first game of the summer schedule at Prenton Park.
There are also berths for Roberto Firmino, Jon Flanagan, Lucas Leiva - who wears the captain's armband - and Dejan Lovren, while Academy midfielder Ovie Ejaria makes his first ever appearance for the Reds’ senior side.
Danny Ings, Alberto Moreno and Lazar Markovic are named among the 12 substitutes.
