Boss: My Scouse will need some work!
Jürgen Klopp admits he'll need more time to work on his Scouse phrases after the manager received a lesson from a nine-year-old Liverpool fan in an exclusive Kop Kids interview.
While grilling the German inside his Melwood office recently, youngster Isaac offered some sage advice about key sayings to use amid his new surroundings on Merseyside.
But when asked about the footage, released today and available to watch below, Klopp joked that he is by no means an expert in the field just yet.
“The problem is that I don’t remember important things too good – but ‘boss’ is not a problem! It’s easy to learn,” he said at his pre-Bordeaux press conference.
“But the rest… I couldn’t even read it when I saw it. So I need more time, of course, to get better at Scouse and I hope I will have this time!”
