Anfield will honour former Liverpool goalkeeper Tommy Lawrence with a minute's applause before Sunday's match against Manchester City.

The Scot, who played 390 games for the club and won two league titles and the FA Cup under the management of Bill Shankly, passed away at the age of 77 on Wednesday morning.

A special tribute will be paid to Lawrence ahead of kick-off as those in attendance show their respects to one of the greatest ‘keepers in the club’s history.
