Keen Scandinavian footballers dreaming of being the next John Arne Riise, Daniel Agger or Sami Hyypia have the opportunity to receive three days of expert coaching through the Liverpool FC International Academy Scandinavia’s 2017 programmes.

Courses consist of technical sessions and skills challenges delivered by LFC coaches, and will follow the same coaching programme as the club's prestigious Academy in Kirkby.

Liverpool FC and Sport Media are in their 14th year of running the club’s only official youth coaching programmes in Scandinavia, which has seen over 30,000 children across the region learn to play The Liverpool Way.

Liverpool Legend and club ambassador Gary McAllister last year visited a number of Liverpool FC International Academies across Scandinavia and was impressed by the standard of coaching on offer.

McAllister said: “The work done by the Liverpool FC International Academies in Scandinavia is tremendous, the coaches are dedicated to teaching young players the Liverpool way, and I feel that the kids benefit a lot from this high standard of coaching and most importantly they have a lot of fun.”

Once the three-day courses come to an end, each participant will receive individual feedback from their coach and a certificate signed by Ian Rush.

A Liverpool Way award will also be given to one lucky participant from each course that has really embraced the LFC values of ambition, commitment, dignity and unity. The prize also includes a place on an LFC Academy experience back in Liverpool.

As an added incentive, those who book a 2017 course place before December 13 this year will be in with the chance of winning a signed Nathaniel Clyne shirt and Emre Can mini ball.
