The German moves into space outside the box and plays a slick one-two with Milner to slice open the Maribor defence before curling into the bottom corner first time.

GOAL! MOHAMED SALAH!
And there's the breakthrough! And it comes via our top scorer, Mohamed Salah.
The No.11 notches his tenth of the season so far as he meets Alexander-Arnold's cross at the near post and nudges it beyond Handanovic from eight yards out.

Stats all, folks
Five of the six goals scored by the Reds in Europe at Anfield this season have come within the opening 37 minutes.
"We, the team, have come in for criticism this season and it’s come because we haven’t been consistent enough with our results. Anyone who’s watched us since we started at Watford knows we’ve been playing well enough and the performance level has been, by and large, pretty consistent. But the results haven’t and at Liverpool you need the results."

The U19s go ahead after just four minutes as Curtis Jones sees a low effort deflected in before that lead is doubled by a Ben Woodburn penalty.
