Interview'We are really ready to turn things around' - Milos Kerkez previews Liverpool v Man Utd
Milos Kerkez says Liverpool’s players have returned full of energy and focus ahead of Sunday’s showdown with Manchester United.
The reigning Premier League champions resume their season following the October international break with a 4.30pm BST kick-off at Anfield.
They head into the match in the unusual position of having lost their last three games.
Those defeats were all, though, away from home, and Kerkez is relishing the prospect of experiencing another fierce rivalry for the first time and being back on home turf this weekend.
The left-back told Liverpoolfc.com: “I am really looking forward to it. Obviously it’s a big game, it means everything for the club, obviously, to win.
“So, we’re preparing, everyone is really with a lot of positive energy back. A lot of the lads had good performances and good wins with their national teams so we’re really looking forward to it.
“I always feel different when I’m playing in Anfield, to be honest – I get a lot of energy and I’m not really feeling too tired with the adrenaline, so I’m looking forward to it.
“I know the fans will get behind us as always and they really, really give us a lot of boost, a lot of energy. So, it’s going to be a big one and obviously we want to give back to the fans, to the club, the victory.”

“Obviously that [the run of defeats] was tough. I think the international break came and like I said, [we had] important victories, good performances. Everyone is in shape, so yeah, I saw everyone back with full energy and full focus and we are really ready to turn things around,” the Hungary international added.
“A couple of weeks ago I was looking forward to the Everton game and obviously now this one means a lot to win, and means a lot to us to get back on the three points way. So, we need to prepare good for the game.
“Everyone came back fit and it’s going to be really important, we’re going to need everyone: the fans, the players who are starting, [the players] who are not starting, and we go for three points.”
