Anfield saluted Liverpool legend Andy Robertson on his return with Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night.
The defender was back at the place he called home for nine years for the first time since bidding farewell and joining Spurs in the summer.
Robertson’s history-making spell with the Reds from 2017 to 2026 included 378 appearances, 14 goals and eight major trophies.
He took to the pitch during the second half of the Carabao Cup tie between his old and new clubs and was greeted rapturously by the home fans.
Robertson also reciprocated that deep affection in a moment with the Kop after full-time.
