The Reds wrap up the 2023-24 season with a 4pm BST kick-off at Anfield as Jürgen Klopp oversees the final match of his managerial reign.

This will be Klopp’s 491st and final game as Liverpool boss in all competitions (304 wins, including penalty shootouts). Only Bill Shankly (783), Tom Watson (742) and Bob Paisley (535) have managed more matches in the club’s history.

Klopp won his final league fixtures in charge of both FSV Mainz 05 (May 2008) and Borussia Dortmund (May 2015).

He will be aiming to buck a trend – none of Liverpool’s previous six managers won their final league match.

Klopp will leave the Reds without any team doing a Premier League double over the club during his tenure.

Mohamed Salah is set to make his 250th Premier League appearance for Liverpool. To date, he has 223 goal contributions (155 goals, 68 assists).

The Reds are four goals short of recording 400 in all Anfield league games under Klopp.

This will be Liverpool’s first 4pm BST kick-off this season and their 13th different kick-off time in 2023-24.

Virgil van Dijk scored his first league goal for the club against Wolves in a 2-0 win at Molineux in December 2018.

No Reds player has ever scored a hat-trick against Wolves in any competition.

Liverpool have played five games previously on this date. Since a 1-1 draw at Club Brugge to clinch the 1976 UEFA Cup on aggregate, the last four outings on May 19 have all been won, scoring nine and conceding none.
