Virgil van Dijk shortlisted for 2026 FIFPro Men's World 11
Virgil van Dijk has been named on the 2026 FIFPro Men’s World 11 shortlist.
The annual World 11 is decided by the votes of thousands of professional players across the globe.
The goalkeeper, three defenders, three midfielders and three forwards who receive the most selections from their peers are included in the final 11, alongside the next outfield player with the most votes.
This year’s edition considers an individual’s performance for club and country during the period from August 4, 2025 to July 19, 2026.
FIFPro today announced the 26 nominees to be included – and the World 11 will then be revealed on Monday November 9.
