Here is all you need to know about AFC Bournemouth ahead of Liverpool's Premier League visit to the south coast on Sunday.
In the dugout
Andoni Iraola's replacement in the Vitality Stadium dugout is Marco Rose, a former player under Jürgen Klopp at FSV Mainz 05.
Rose has previously been in charge of Lokomotive Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg, Borussia Monchengladbach, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.
The German has faced Liverpool once before in his coaching career, when his RB Leipzig side were beaten at home in the 2024-25 Champions League league phase.
Season so far
The Cherries go into Sunday's clash on the back of their first-ever match in European competition.
They began their Europa League campaign on Thursday night away at Real Sociedad, where they earned a 2-1 victory.
Rose's men are still searching for their first Premier League win of the season but have only been beaten once up to this point – at Manchester City on the opening weekend.
Their subsequent meetings with Everton, Newcastle United and Brentford ended all square.
One to watch
Marcus Tavernier has scored in four of his last five Premier League appearances (four goals), having only netted four times in his previous 24 games.
The attacker has started all of Bournemouth's league matches so far this season.
In addition to goals scored in the 2026-27 Premier League, the 27-year-old also leads his team for shots on target and dribbles attempted.
Previous meetings
A 95th-minute Amine Adli goal meant Liverpool left Vitality Stadium having sustained a 3-2 defeat in January of last season.
Before that, the clubs had raised the 2025-26 curtain on an emotional occasion at Anfield that finished in a 4-2 victory for the hosts.
Hugo Ekitike, Cody Gakpo, Federico Chiesa and Mohamed Salah were the Reds' scorers that evening.

Adli, Julian Araujo, Junior Kroupi and Veljko Milosavljevic have been missing for the Cherries due to injury.
Rose, however, reported no fresh concerns following their game in San Sebastian.

"He [Iraola] left the club in top shape and that's what I knew. That's what I got when I came here – a top team with top staff. Everyone is professional and keen to work hard to be successful. We started with good performances, showed how we want to play and a lot of things we maintained.
"Now it's about getting our own things into the team. He will get a warm welcome, for sure, but Bournemouth want to win the game."
