This year's designated remembrance fixtures will see both the men's and women's teams host Arsenal at Anfield.

The men's Premier League fixture takes place this Sunday (4.30pm GMT kick-off), while the Barclays Women's Super League match will be played on Remembrance Sunday (November 8, 12pm GMT kick-off).

Players will wear home shirts featuring the Remembrance Day poppy, honouring the service and sacrifice of the armed forces community.

They will be signed by all players and auctioned to raise funds for the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal. You can bid on the men's shirts here and the women's shirts here.

Ahead of kick-off at both designated fixtures, a period of silence will be observed with current service and ex-service personnel, standard bearers and a bugler to play the Last Post.

Additional support to the Poppy Appeal will be given through the LFC matchday programme, perimeter LED boards and an LFC Royal British Legion poppy pin on sale in-store and online.

One hundred per cent of the proceeds raised from sales of the LFC Royal British Legion poppy pin will go directly to the Royal British Legion.

The Royal British Legion relies on donations from the Poppy Appeal to help provide vital support to the armed forces community and their families to ensure that their unique contribution is never forgotten.

LFC works closely with Merseyside Royal British Legion representatives to support their work in the local community and via LFC Foundation's Military Veterans project. This aims to support and re-engage ex-military service men and women back into civilian life through the power of football.
